Carbon Bridge is an independent company that connects emission reduction projects with carbon buyers and investors worldwide. We are based in South East Asia and specialise in the Mekong Region. We identify projects and work with developers to help them realise the carbon value of their projects.
We aim to support the uptake of sustainable energy in South East Asia and the Pacific, thereby supporting worldwide efforts to combat climate change and contribute locally towards sustainable development.
Carbon Bridge has helped developers of emission reduction projects access the benefits of the international carbon market in countries across the Asia Pacific Region, including Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea. We have worked on a diverse range of emission reduction projects, including biogas, solar, wind, hydro, biomass, landfill gas and waste heat power projects.
Carbon Bridge has an intricate understanding and experience in all the main carbon regimes, including the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol, the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and Gold Standard certification.
We have co-ordinated the issuance of Thailand's first Gold Standard CERs and the first CERs in Cambodia, a Least Developed Country. We specialise in unique projects, such as the Registration of the first wind farm in Vietnam, developing the first Gold Standard projects in Laos, Cambodia and PNG.
